Bead Stopper - Do You!

I was making a beaded banner this afternoon and had on my cording
all my beads for the first 2 rows.

The next step is to run the rod through the first and
second rows as outlined in the beaded banner instructions or for
doing the peyote stitch.

I have never used a bead stopper or anything to stop the beads
from coming off the end of the cording before, but this afternoon
I wished that I had! The cording slipped through my fingers
and the end result was all the beads I had strung on were not on
the cording but all over the kitchen floor, everywhere
as you can imagine!

As I was on my hands and knee's trying to find all the beads
that had come off onto the floor and trying to remember all
the hints and tips for picking up spilled beads I thought may be
it was time to buy a bead stopper or to figure out my own way
of stopping the beads from coming off until I get them onto the
rod and tied off!

I didn't find all the beads that had hit the floor, I am sure I will
eventually when I move the fridge and stove in time to come or
sooner if I run out of that particular color and need it in a hurry!
