Super Bowl Sunday 9 Days and Counting!
Super Bowl Sunday is February 3, 2008! ![]() ![]() Its going to be one great party! Are you ready for some football! ========================== Are you having a Super Bowl Party! To help you get ready to party we have found some great Super Bowl Recipes for you to make! ========================== Cowboy(Girl)Chili Printed from COOKS.COM ===================== 2 tbsp. oil 1 onion, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 lb. ground beef 2 tbsp. flour 1-2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. cumin 1 can kidney beans 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes 1 (7 oz.) can diced green chilies 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese TOPPING: 2 eggs 1/3 c. sour cream 1 (8 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained Saute oil, onion and garlic; add and brown ground beef. Add flour, chili powder, oregano and cumin. Stir in kidney beans, tomatoes and green chilies. Pour into a 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking dish; sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top. Stir together eggs, sour cream and corn muffin mix; fold in corn. Drop by teaspoonsful on top of casserole. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes, or until brown and bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. ==============================Dan's Delicious Chicken Wings Ingredients: 5 lb chicken wings 1 tablespoon garlic salt 4 tablespoons dry mustard 2 tablespoons thyme 2 tablespoons dried parsley 1 (8-ounce) bottle light soy sauce Directions: 1. Rinse the chicken wings under cold water. Place in a single layer in a 13-by-9-inch baking pan. 2. Sprinkle the wings with the garlic salt. Spoon the dry mustard over the wings. Sprinkle with the thyme and parsley. 3. Pour 3/4 of the bottle of soy sauce over the seasoned chicken. Cover the pan with aluminum foil. 4. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour. Remove foil and drain most of the liquid. Increase oven to 400 F, return wings to oven and cook untilbrowned, turning once, approximately 15 minutes. Remove to serving platter. Directions: Pour limeade, tequila, water, and beer into a large pitcher.Stir until well-blended, and limeade has melted. Add plenty of ice,and garnish with lime wedges.
