Sorting Your Beads!
With Valentines Day fast approaching Jenny has been designing some awesome things and I sat down to bead them up for Bead Shak. With red being the dominant color for Valentines Day I got out my bags of red and then some of the bags of red that I hadn't opened as yet and saw that the reds were definitely not the same in color. I had written about this subject before a couple of years ago but wanted to write about it again. If I had started to bead my project with these reds the variation on the red would have shown up and that wouldn't have been good. Even a slight difference in colors will show up in the end and take away from the look of your project or even look like you have made a mistake in your beading. As I had suggested before the best thing to do is store your beads by manufacturer that way the colors should all be the same. White is particularly bad for color difference between manufacturers. They vary from snow white to white with a bit of a gray tinge to them. So again when you bring home your beads the best thing to do with them in store them in bags with the original bag they came in so that you will know who made them, the color number and also the size of the beads, for quick reference as less frustration so that you don't have to go to the trouble of sitting down and wasting valuable time sorting out your beads! ------------------------------------------------ Valentines Day is a day where you can tell that special someone how you really feel about them!
